Yes you read that right, a week on the Buffalo! This time of year can be very unpredictable we might have a week of rain or a week of paradise, either way it will be a fun adventure, therefore you will need to be prepared for cool wet weather just in case. Depending on water levels the plan is to put on at Ponca and take out at Rush, a little over 100 hundred miles of picturesque scenery and charming campsites along the river banks. The group will meet at Wild Bill's Outfitters on March 31st at 8:00 AM. Click here for directions. The first day will be the most challenging and the busiest with boats and people, as the week progresses the rapids get easier and we will have the river to ourselves. Camping will be from our boats along the river, so you will need everything for the week with you. You will be able to re-supply fresh water about every 2 days. If we can acquire the campsite at the confluence of the Buffalo and the little buffalo we will spend 2 nights there and explore the little buffalo watershed and have some time for those that like to fish. Other highlights along the river include the narrows and skull bluff; so pack your bags mark your calendar and join in on our adventure. If you have never camped a week from your boat and have questions please don’t hesitate to ask. Please feel free to call, text or email. Let the adventures begin! Sherri Watson
