Meeman -Shelby offers ranger guided tours of Eagle Lake, a cypress swamp. The area is closed to the general public.
The tour is quite short, therefore it would be good to plan other activities while at the park. The fee includes a tandem canoe, but you can bring your own boat (for the same fee) if you prefer. A description of a tour recently posted on the park website is
