The Paddle
Watch the sun set and the full moon rise at the south end of the harbor.

Then night paddle with the downtown lights reflecting on the water.

Before the Paddle
We'll meet at 7:00 pm at the Lower Mud Island Boat Ramp.

Directions
There's a link to a Google Map below. Enter Mud Island via the A.W. Willis Ave Bridge, the western extension of North Parkway. Turn left (south) at the roundabout and enter the park at the south end of the island. Keep to the left. The Lower Mud Island Boat Ramp is past the Memphis Yacht Club/Marina and between the monorail and the Aphitheater.

Other Details

Cothing: We will be paddling after sunset. Please wear a white shirt/top for maximum visibility after dark. Bring bug spray.

Lights: After sunset, you must have navigation lights on your boat.
At a minimum you must have a flashlight handy to signal approaching boats.

Membership: This paddle is for Bluff City Canoe Club members and their guests. If you are not a member, we'd love to have you join. Membership is only $30 per year and includes your entire family.

We will comply with American Canoe Association (ACA) safety and insurance requirements. Every paddler must a wear a PDF on the water.

You must have completed an ACA Smart Waiver within the past 12 months.

Participants who are not a current annual ACA member must purchase a ACA Single Event Membership at $5/person. You will be able to purchase this single event membership during registration.
