MESSAGE FROM PREZ PATTY:
The next few months are important to our club as we have important business to attend to: elections!! So here is the run down for you to put on your calendars:
August 26th: Meeting of the Officers and Advisory Board to discuss club business, and for the advisory board to nominate officers for 2011 and two new advisory board members to replace Woody Pierce and Margaret Dixon who rotate off having served their three year term.
September 1st Meeting: Nominations will be announced.
October 6th Meeting: Elections.
November: The president-elect begins to think about who he/she wants to appoint to the various chairs. Please be thinking about which committee you would enjoy leading or being a part of.
December: no meeting, but there will be a Christmas Party on Saturday, December 11th, cocktails at 5:30, dinner at 6:00. Place: Hobbits Glen Clubhouse, 1722 Masters Drive off Kimbrough Blvd. Each person is asked to bring a door prize so start thinking about something interesting to bring!

Thanks again for arranging for the Club to use you clubhouse.
I don't know if all our members realize how expensive room rental has become elsewhere and without you, there would probably be no Holiday Party.
